Default Windows ME

When I shut down, I get a message stating:

Attention
98k / 219HZ
Frequency is out of range.

How do I cure this problem?

This is your monitor talking to you rather than the operating system. The
frequency here being either the horizontal or vertical scan frequency. Do
you have problems when Win Me is running? If not then you can safely
ignore the message, otherwise try changing the screen refresh rate. To do
this right click on the desktop, select Properties | Settings and then
click the Advanced button. You should then find a setting that will allow
you to alter the monitor refresh rate on usually the Adapter but just
possibly the Monitor tab.

If you are only seeing this message when the system is shutting down this
is because the system is shutting down and no longer sending a signal to
the monitor but may not have completely closed the output.
