flash ocx error
I am trying to help a friend using Windows 98. She recently installed
Norton Internet Security and there was a problem with the install (having to do with an error message about having to replace a dll, which she did not understand and couldn't do herself). Since then, though I uninstalled the program, she gets the error message "Could not find the file "flash.ocx"" This error appears about a dozen times within a few seconds when the CPU is idle. If you hit OK for each one, you can go back to use the computer until it happens again. I downloaded and installed a new version of IE because IE would not work after uninistalling that Norton program and then installed Macromedia flash as well. Any good ideas on how to eliminate that error message? Thanks in advance. |
