I used a friend's Recovery Disk to fix my computer. It installed XP on it,

You may be OK if you boot DOS from a floppy and use FDISK to re-start from scratch i.e. remove all XP partitions and set up Win98 partitions. -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada) |

Don,
BLESS YOU! OK, now a bit more would be wonderful: How do I boot DOS? I don't have one of those "emergency" disks, which is what I presume you are talking about, and I never got DOS disks when I got the computer. Again, thank you. I was so frusterated and, frankly, humiliated by this process. James R. Bratton Major Infantry Commanding HHC, 1/9th AVR (Special Forces) "Don Phillipson" wrote: "J. Brat" wrote in message ...
