Default Spybot problems

I don't understand what's going on with Spybot. I ran the "Search and Destroy"
and "Check for Problems" features. First, I am getting a message saying "Spybot
S & D has detected an important registry entry that has been changed.
Underneath that it says:

Category: System start up global entry
Change: Value added
Entry: Spybot SnD

Then, it asks whether I will accept the change or deny the change. I'm
uncertain what to do. And . . .

The other problem is that Spybot detected some spyware called "VBouncer" that
it has been unable to fix, even though I have continually clicked on "Fix
Selected Problems." It says that it has been unable to fix it because it's
still in the memory, but advises me to restart my computer and the problem
should be fixed, but the "VBouncer" stays there. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

I forgot to mention in my previous post that I ran Adaware several times, and
it is not detecting the "VBouncer" spyware that Spybot is detecting. Although
Spybot is detecting it, it doesn't seem to be able to get rid of it. HELP!

HELP!

If you go to this page you should be able to delete the files listed
and get rid of Vbouncer.
http://www.scanspyware.net/info/Virt...r-VBouncer.htm
From Pest Patrol:
http://www.pestpatrol.com/pestinfo/v/vbouncer.asp

PS: Upgrade to the latest AdAware free version (I believe it is
AdAware SE Personal Builf 1.02), update the defs, and run it.
I believe it will get rid of VBouncer for you.
Spybot and AdAware both find different things. Just don't 'ever' run
AdAware while SpyBot is actually running at the same time.
At least, it caused major problems for me.

Thank you for your help. Do you know whether I can purchase Pest Patrol at a
store? I don't want to purchase anything over the Internet until I'm certain
that I've gotten rid of the spyware. By the way, the edition of AdAware that I
have is 6.0. I can't seem to find the one you're referring to (1.02).

Did you seek updates for Spybot before you used it?

Try running Spybot in Safe Mode
(http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...01052409420406).

The latest version of AdAware SE Personal Edition is now 1.03.
It is free and installs quickly. Download it, install it, update and
then run it.
http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/

Choose the MajorGeeks download site as they have version 1.03. The
first site listed had the old 1.02 version.
