I'm trying to add a wireless adapter to my daughter's
computer and I'm receiving the follwoing message. Any
ideas on how to handle?

This is often caused by adware, spyware or other unwanted pests present on
the computer. See my clean-up guide at
http://rgharper.mvps.org/cleanit.htm/ for an approach that may get rid of
the problem.
