Default Please help. Unwanted "Microsoft Picture It" download box

I have a weird problem. When I access some trusted sites
(one is the Pacman's Portal startups site), and type in
data in their search box, a download box sometimes appears
asking if I want to save a file for "Microsoft Picture
It". The problem is that I did not request a download at
all, and I don't use Microsoft Picture It. I click on the
X to get rid of it. What could be causing this? I
regularly scan my computer for viruses and spyware but
find nothing. Thank you for any comments, etc.

Sounds like the sites you're visiting want you to download a PictureIt
file. If it's the same message at the same sites consistently then that
pretty well confirms it.

There's no PictureIt files at Pac's Portal, Rick!

Might go a long way towards figuring this out if you posted what the
filename was (including the extension), and verify that IE was asking
you if you wanted to "Run or Save this file" (or whatever IE's version
of that message is).

There's no Search Box on Pacs-Portal Startup page, btw... could you
point to one of the pages in question?
