If I were to create a hidden partition can I save to(an Image) and restore
from (an Image) from the hidden partition or must the partition be made visible first? |

That would depend on the capabilties of your imaging software, and also whether or not it uses the OS to access the drive and file system. For exmaple, BootitNG allows imaging to hidden partitions, but it must be formatted. Alternatively, you could hide the partition after the save, and then unhide it when needed. |
