Default Win98 (former server) no longer recognizes network (as workstation)

Hi,

I just replaced a Win98 machine (formerly my server)with
a new Windows XP Professional. I now have the XP as my
server and am trying to get the Win98 on the network as a
workstation.

I've plugged the cable into the router, and I just
expected it to be able to be back on the network.
Obviously, things are not that simple (although they
should be). What obvious things should I be doing?

Thanks,
Kris
