Default Adobe Flash Player

The latest versions of Flash Player do not support ME - you need to install
one of the older versions
Go here http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
and select the correct version for your OS and browser, download it and
install it.

When ever I go to any internet site I get a security warning
and with a flashing screen asking
"Do you want Adobe Flash Player to install and run"
The default is "NO" when I click it, it disappears and
reappears after a few seconds and it happens again and
again.
I do not have any Adobe application even reader on
my computer.
How can I get rid of it?
Thanks for any advice.
