DVD RW drive detected as CD ROM

i recently purchased a LITEON DVD RW drive and after
installation the drive is detected as a normal CD ROM i am
unable to locate drivers for it on any of the cds that
came with it on their wbsite or in windows (other than the
default cd rom driver) i am in desprate need of help

Yep, that's 100% normal. What you need to do now is install the burning
software that came with the drive, then you can use the drive to burn CDs.
