Default AVG zapped itself?!

Howdy

When I started my computer this morning AVG (free edition) wouldn't load
from the startgroup. The error message said 'couldn't find AVG kernel..'

Here is the last message in the AVG INET LOGFILE:

14 July 2005, 09:52:48 - The file 'C:\WINDOWS\All Users\Application
Data\Grisoft\Avg7Data\upd7bin\u7avi530u516ef.bin' was removed.

Am I right in assuming, going by the last logfile entry above,.that AVG
killed itself?

thanx for any answers

Jason

Sounds like you may have shutdown while AVG7 was auto-updating?

Try re- or over-installing AVG7.

Its possible someone else did that,..but strangely enough when the PC was
turned on again AVG re-appeared in the start-up group and seems to be
working.
Sorry about the false alarm and thks for the info.
