Default Boot Limit HELP!!!!

Hello. I have been trying to look for a solution for my
problem. I only have a windows 95 full operating system
install CD, but i have windows 98, and ME upgrade cd's.
According to may sites the windows 95 creats a boot
partition of only 2gb's and no more. I upgrades to windows
98 (because ME is horrible) and the limit is supposted to
be now 8gb's. I guess since it was upgraded and not fully
installed that the limit stays at 2gbs. I have a 5gb hd
funning and a 20 gb slaved. My wondows files are expanding
everyday and now i am constally getting notifications to
clean up disk space because windows does not have enought
space to run. I also have Partition Magic 8.0 but it wont
let me change it in that either. I gues want to know how
to change my 2gb into the full 5gb of the harddrive. I
would greatly appreatiate the help. I have been searching
for a sloution for quite a while now and im getting a
little ticked. This is a secondary computer for my shore
home, and it is way to slow to run windows xp. Thank you
again.

Make a win98 startup disk and enable large disk
support.
From within Windows:
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then
click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. On the Startup Disk tab, click Create Disk.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
4. Write protect the floppy disk, then test it
to make sure it works.

Or one can be downloaded here.
Bootdisk.Com:
http://www.bootdisk.com/
This will require deleating any partitions
and formatting C again, start with 95 then upgrade
to 98.

Get a Windows 98 Startup Disk (www.bootdisk.com if you don't have
one).

Use FDISK to delete the existing partition and create a new one that
uses the whole 5 gb capacity of the drive. After creating the
partition reboot as requested and verify that the partition is in fact
5 gb in size.

Then insert the *Windows 98* upgrade CD and run the Setup program on
it. It should start to install and at some point it will ask you
insert the disk or CD from an earlier version of Windows. At that
point remove the Windows 98 CD and insert the Windows 95 one. It
should only take a minute or so to verify your eligibility for the
upgrade version and then the install will resume from the Windows 98
CD.

Good luck

I agree with Ron Martell; however, I would make a boot disk rather than
downloading one by using the Fat32ebd.exe file located on the W98 CD:
tools/mtsutil/fat32ebd

For information on installing W98, go to:
