Default I am attempting to change the XP general newsgroup Att:PCR

PCR, I am working against the tide and trying to change the affects of the
radiation on people in the XP general newsgroup. I thought this reply would
interest you.

I tend to agree with you Dan. XP seems to bring out the worst in people...
a few in here seem to be trying to show how loyal and supportive they are
to Microsoft by childish attacks on anyone who expresses displeasure with
their "experience". It's as if they think the Bill is reading this group and
looking for new hires...yeah, right! (From B. Smith of XP general newsgroup)

Right-O, PCR. I have found that many of the XP users think of 98SE as an
ancient operating system that doesn't belong in the modern world so I doubt
any will follow me back here. wow, you should see my Linux post there -- it
has set off a firestorm of controversy and people are dissing each other
while other people are getting angry at them -- It is hilarious and just like
a modern-day soap opera. my, my -- I guess I can cause trouble -- evil grin

Still I won't go, especially as now I've given away my anti-XP-radiation
pills. But not only that!

Here is a post about Mozilla Firefox where users continually put each other
down. I did not even iniate this topic. Wow, I am glad this group is more
sane then the XP general newsgroup.

"That is a forum as well. Don't you see 'Web browser discussion' written on
top. It's another person like you trying to impose his views in a
discussion group very similar to this one. It's not authoritative
information. And I don't need someone else to tell me a page is rendering
faster - I can see it for myself. Probably why FF is now pushing 10%
market."

I try to avoid gossip in all it's forms, Dan. You know that! And gossip
from an XP-site is the worst of all!
