I know I will get complains why I post my question here. I posted my
question on office misc for a few days but go no solution. My question is I
designed an ad using Word Xp. I pasted many images from different sources.
Now I am trying to put a border around it but what happens is that borders
come up around each images and text not one border around the whole ad. How
do I do it correctly?

It's difficult to be very specific without knowing which version of
Microsoft Word you are using. I'm still finding a rather old version as
useful as it always was, so there's a high probability your version is
later than mine.

Have you tried inserting a bordered text frame for the entire ad area
before adding ANY of your other content, then inserting the content
inside the main text frame with borders turned off for the content?

Don't use Word - use something suitable for an ad, such as Publisher, or a
graphics program.

Sol,

This is the method using Word in Office 97 Professional (Never bothered to
update to the bloatware of the newer office products).

After pasting the images select Format Borders and Shading Page Border
and select the setting that is required.

This is obviously a different method to that used in Word (Office XP) but it
may give you a clue as to where to look.
