Windows shutsdown automatically
I'm looking for ideas as to why....my system will shutdown
without warning. It's done this while running ME and XP but not while booted in a DOS mode. I've shutdown all the power management options, have reformatted the system in both Fat32 and NTFS, have loaded the OS and nothing else. The system can shutdown in 5 minutes or 5 hours, there's nothing common here. It just stops running on its own, although the power supply fan and lights keep going. I'm at a loss for ideas. Has anyone seen this before? The system is an HP Desktop. Thanks!!! |
