Links for Disk G (MSDN Disk 5, Windows 98 Versions, January 2000)
Links for Disk G (MSDN Disk 5, Windows 98 Versions, January 2000)
Links to these MSDN CD's were originally posted in April 2014 and were hosted by Filepost as multi-part rar archives. This is an updated post, and this (and other) MSDN CD's are now (or will be) available from FileDropper.com as single rar files which contain the ISO cd image of the original MSDN CD. The link for this particular archive is: http://www.filedropper.com/win98_1 You will need winrar (or possibly winzip) to decompress this file, which will give you this file: WIN98.ISO (560 mb) You can burn that to a CD-R, or use a program like WinImage (http://www.winimage.com/winimage.htm) to extract the files from the ISO. Winrar can also extract the contents from the ISO image. If this MSDN CD is no longer available at the above link, or if you are seeking the other MSDN CD's that were part of this series originally posted in April 2014 that are no longer available at FilePost, then post a request to the usenet newsgroup microsoft.public.win-98.gen_discussion to have the CD re-uploaded. ================================================== ================= Disk G ------------------------------------- Microsoft MSDN Disk 5 Windows 98 Versions January 2000 ------------------------------------- Volume in drive E is WIN98 Volume Serial Number is xxxx-xxxx Directory of E:\ WIN98 DIR 08-18-99 4:15p WIN98_SE DIR 08-18-99 4:34p 0 file(s) 0 bytes 2 dir(s) 0 bytes free This is the seventh CD (disk G) of an 9-CD archive of Windows 95 and 98 platform SDK, DDK and tools. While using improper usenet message-composition style by unnecessarily
full-quoting a previous post, canuseeme wrote: if you can post everyting but the OS installation disks that would be great Given the fact that I was asked to make Disk G available for download, and Disk G *is* essentially the installation disk for Windows 98 (first and second edition), then doesn't your request look a little stupid? Sure I can post the other disks. But I can't "un-post" the OS installation disks - nor would I want to. So they're there if you (or anyone else) wants them. It will take a day or two to upload the other disks. |
