Default News.Individual.Net

In case anyone overlooked their notice via e-mail:
Come April 1st, News.Individual.Net will charge 10 Euros per year for
participation in its news groups, including 'alt.comp.virus' and
'alt.comp.antivirus', with one exception: users of the server
News.CIS.DFN.DE as part of the project DFNNet.News are not effected.
To continue service by paying, one has to go to their website
http://news.individual.net/.

Odd......I had to email them last night to get my password and the person
who wrote me didn't say anything about it......nor have I been notified. No
big deal, I will just use my ISP's news groups.

Thanks....Heather

Heather:

I received the notice just yesterday, Feb.15.
It didn't look like a prank to me.
To correct myself, it shoud have red 'alt.comp.anti-virus',
But you know it, I guess.
As you said in not so many words, the whole thing is no big deal, we can do
without it.
Cheers,

Harry.

I received the email last night when I logged on Heather, I was telling
Noel about it but he hadn't been notified at that time. Perhaps the
notices are going out alphabetically g

Archer & Webster?? Unless Harry is using a pseudonym, grin. Didn't get it
yet, btw.

About ready to put XP on here, thanks to Mike's superb advice. But have to
go to the hairdressers first......priorities!! A new "do" for a new O/S,
grin.

No secret connections here, Heather.
Webster is a "pseudo", of course.
If you 'didn't get it' yet, maybe you ought to talk to the guy from Verizon,
if you know what I mean bg.

Harry.
