Settings - Printers Proggie
I have a 98SE box that now goes into 'not responding' everytime I enter
Start|Settings|Printers (while trying to detect the installed printer(s)). I did a scan disk just before this happened and it found several lost clusters... Any good ideas on how to reinstall this program? Thanks! Jim |

What about "Control Panels, Printers"? That appears to give the same
box. However... http://support.microsoft.com/default...48&Product=w98 Description of Control Panel (.cpl) Files ....appears not to show a separate one for the Printer. Therefore, it may come of installing the Printer. -- Thanks or Good Luck, There may be humor in this post, and, Naturally, you will not sue, should things get worse after this, PCR "James L Szatkowski, PE" wrote in message ... | I have a 98SE box that now goes into 'not responding' everytime I enter | Start|Settings|Printers (while trying to detect the installed printer(s)). | I did a scan disk just before this happened and it found several lost | clusters... | | Any good ideas on how to reinstall this program? | | Thanks! | Jim | | |
