Lock-Up After Online Turbo Tax Use
Recent Active X patch may be why I have to Re-Boot after each Online use of
Turbo Tax. Start Btn/Desktop icons/QuickLaunch links freeze. No other known system issues. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Begin by using the internal update tool for Turbo Tax to ensure that you are

Thanks for suggestion. I log on via Merrill Lynch Link & find No Update Link.
I have to presume that the Online Format updates itself vs. CD-ROM maybe requiring updates. Interesting I had to type this with FireFox 1.0; IE6 "Cannot Find Page". And so the MS story goes....!! Perhaps you are using a "thin client" app, where the entire TurboTax app is
on Intuit's server, and your machine is only a dumb terminal. If so, there may be some mis-configuration issues, or permissions. Speak to Intuit about it. -- Jack E.
