Default "New" context menu no longer appears, plus strange startup.

Yes a lot of stuff. Wow.
The first one is

Message:
Starting a device = WDM TV Tuner

Details:
DISPLAY\NVTUNEP\PNP0002PCI&VEN_10DE&DEV_0200&SUBSY S_001B1545&REV_A3&000800

I know what this is, I was playing around with the TV Tuner setting for
I nVIDIA GeForce3 , but I
didn't have the cable hooked up to a TV at the time. So that's probally
what caused this crash.

The majority of the messages are

Message:
Calling a PnP BIOS = Get Statically Allocated Resource Information

Details:
0A 00 00 00 98 01 E8 00

All of this are the same with different Reference points

The only other one is

Message:
Calling a PnP BIOS = Read Extended System Configuration Data (ESCD)

Details:
42 00 00 00 A8 04 98 03 F0 00 00 00

As for the Device Magager is concerned there is a yellow exclamaion
point on my mouse.
I have a Microsoft Intellipoint Explorer Optical USB / PS/2 mouse. When
I first installed it
I used the PS/2 port, then switched to USB. I removed the PS/2 reference
at one point
but the system just did that "Installing new hardware" with a icon of a
mouse, everytime I
removed it, so I left it alone. There are no conflicts on the
Resources tab.
the details just say the device is not present. I think I'll check the
"Disable in profile box".

Thanks again.

Perhaps look in Device Manager as well... "R-Clk My Computer,
Properties, Device Manager tab". Are there red/yellow ?'s/!'s on any
icons?

(If you end up in blank Windows Help Troubleshooting screens, then...
http://support.microsoft.com/support/windows/tshoot
)

Finally, "START, Run, MSInfo32, Tools tab, Automatic Skip Driver Agent".
Does it have a message for you?
