alt.comp.periphs.cdr or comp.publish.cdrom.software. These newsgroups are
carried by most Usenet news servers.

Out of curiosity what problems are you having using Nero?

Hi Mike,
I am trialling Photo2dvd Studio 3 (and find it excellent to use, however
when I try and burn the image file in Nero 6, I get a failure with the
following message 'An error occurred while loading the cue sheet file
(then the file name). (Line1).
As I'm a bit of a newbie, I can't understand this error, nor can I find
reference to it in the FAQs.
I have contacted the supplier of software, but not positive leads yet.

Willy,

Personally I've never found Nero to be particularly good with bin cue
files and have always used Golden Hawk's CDRWin for burning such file
sets. (http://www.goldenhawk.com/)

Nevertheless, from the error you report it would appear that the problem
is that the cue file is pointing at a bin file with either a different
name or in a different location than indicated by the cue file. Using a
text editor such as notepad, open the cue file and check that the first
line is pointing to the correct location for the bin file you wish to
burn. If incorrect either correct the cue file or rename the bin file as
appropriate.

For example, the first line of the cue file might read as follows:
FILE "C:\TEMP\MYFILE.bin" BINARY First line
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
FLAGS DCP
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
snip

Here the cue file is looking for the file MYFILE.bin in the C:\TEMP
folder. If you've moved or renamed the bin file then correct accordingly,
so in my example if I edit the first line of the cue file to read
FILE "MYFILE.bin" BINARY
the cue file is now looking for the file MYFILE.bin but this time in the
same folder as the cue file.
