Default spool manager

I am working on windows 98 with an Epson stylus color 600 printer. I have
installed ,uninstalled and reinstalled the printer software only to come
up with error "error while spooling to unable to start spool manager.' I
am at wits end , any help would be apppreciated.

Please somebody reply to this question. Iam having the same problem. Only
difference is Iam using Cannon.
