Default Memory

I reinstalled Windows 98 on a machine, and now when I try
to run Internet Explorer, I get a message saying that
there is not enough memory to open it. I can open
WordPad and things like that, but no Internet Explorer.
Besides not having enough physical memory, is there
anything else that could be wrong with it? It worked
before with the same amount of memory.

Thanks

It depends on what "It" is now.

I know that you have 5.5 on the machine you posted with,
but you also said that you reinstalled Windows 98 on "a machine".
not on "this machine", which therefore begs the question

"What version of Internet Explorer does the problem machine have?"
