For your information Microsoft Interactive training is not part of the Win
Me operating system and was presumably installed on your PC by its manufacturer. I would suggest that you contact them for support with this application. As to your first question, I'm not clear as to why this is a problem since I would expect a user to only view the Windows Millennium Preview" once it even that. :-) You don't mention whether this problem follows a clean install of Win Me or whether the system has been in use for some time. I wouldn't expect to see such an error following a clean install. If however it follows a clean install using OEM media then it would suggest that the install is incomplete and I would recommend repeating the exercise. If however the system has been installed this prompts the question as to what changes have been made to the system between there being no problem and the present time with you seeing these problems, especially the use of any registry cleaner. If the problem is of recent origin then I would suggest using system restore to roll your system back to the state it was in when the system had no problems. As to a long term remedy I would probably recommend the removal of both of these items but appreciate that that is not the answer you are looking for. g -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP arvind wrote: i repeat my msg posted in this NG on 17 & 19 nov- 1. on trying to open 'Welcome to Windows Millenium Edition' from Accessories-Entertainment-Windows Millenium Edition Preview, the following error comes up- 'Internet Explorer Script Error An error has occured in the script on this page Line: 48 Char: 1 Error:U Code: 0 URL : file://C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\INTRO\CONTENT.HTA Do you want to continue running scripts on this page Yes No' 2. also, after opening Microsoft Interactive Training from Accessories, on double clicking an item, nothing appears in the main window that comes up and the audio bar below is in the pause mode. clicking the 'play' button has no effect. can any remedy be suggested. tia. arvind |

I suppose you could also try checking the 'Disable Script Debugging'
option(s) in IE/Tools/IE Options/Advanced/Browsing for part 1 of your question. It may get rid of the error report. thanks mart & mike. mart, the 'disable...' option is
already checked there. mike, i've a compaq desktop since 2000. actually, like you said, i really dont need both these features. i recently used the 'compaq user restore' cd after my puter started giving all sorts of errors, including in IE6- which i uninstalled-reinstalled, with noel's guidance, to no avail. i think i'll leave them be. -----Original Message----- For your information Microsoft Interactive training is not part of the Win Me operating system and was presumably installed on your PC by its manufacturer.
