Maxtor 1Touch not recognized in My Computer
Installed unit (120Gb USB). Device Mgr sees it. Explorer
does not. No resolve from Maxtor, after trying their suggestions. Say I should contact Microsoft. Any help?

Have you fdisked and formatted the drive? Until you do so you will not be

At Maxtor suggestion, I used their program Maxblast 3 to partition and format drive. (supposed to be formatted FAT 32 in 1 partition from the factory) Tried this a few times. Seemed to work OK. Once had 2 partitions (about 60 Gb ea.)System assigned Drives E: & F: Explorer could see F: I could read and write to it. But could not see E: Seems wierd.
