Default Windows ME boot disk

I am having to help my father-in-law with his computer.
He has viruses that have not been able to be removed and
his computer is shot. He has all the original disks that
came with his computer but the boot disk. Is there
anywhere one can be burned and I can take to him to to
completly reformat his hard drive and reload everything
back on?

If you are unable to create a boot floppy you can download the image of a
Win Me OEM boot disk from www.bootdisk.com. Download to your desktop,
double click to run and follow the prompts to transfer the image to a
floppy. You don't have to be running Win Me on the system you use when you
download and make the Win Me boot floppy.

Hi,

If you locate one or know wher to get a Windows ME start
up disk, please let me know. I'd sure appreciate it.

Thank you.

So why not read the reply that was posted over a week ago to the original
poster?

If you can still operate his computer somewhat, you can right-click on
My Computer, on the desktop, click Properties. There may be a tab for
Boot Disk.

Or, if you prefer, download a WinMe Startup Disk making utility from
www.bootdisk.com - Just download it to your hard drive and run it to make
a WinMe Startup floppy disk.
