What file extension should the picture have? Was it jpg? Have you perhaps
accidentally renamed them all to having a jpl (or is it jpi) extension although I'm sure you would have remembered this. It could however be the result of something much nastier - some viruses are known to permanently destroy user's graphic files although I'm not aware of them changing them to having a jpl or jpi extension. Have you tried opening your pictures using another application? One that you might want to download and try is IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com/). -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP Paul P. wrote: Dear Microsoft Newsgroups; When I open my documents, and click on my "Picrures" I am unable to see the actual pictures themselvs, all the pictures are labled "Jpi" ???
