Office software compatibility for Windows ME
Office 97, 2000 and XP (aka 2002) all install and run fine on Win Me. Office
2003 however can only be installed, as is stated on the box and elsewhere, on systems running either Windows 2000 SP3 or later or XP or later. Earlier version of Office can also be installed on Win Me but do have some issues. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP Adam wrote: I need to get either office student and teacher edition or just office standard on my computer. the student and teacher edition is cheaper and it has the programs i need, but will it work with windows ME or do i need windows 2000 or XP? |
