You only do it if the CD is rewritable, and it then depends on your CD
burning software.

If in full fledged DOS where you boot to DOS, you would have to be able to
access the drive. Being that I have an HP CDWriter, I am SOL if I try to
access the drive in DOS. Contact your CDwriter MFGR to see if they have
any drivers for DOS. If on the other hand you are doing it freom a DOS
window, then that might also depend upon if you can delete such via that
method. Access yes, delete ?
