Default Button Problem

I have a problem with my display. The buttons that Windows
uses ( such as the up and down arrows for scrolling in a
window ) have either turned to black or show random
letters instead of the actual text or graphic. Does anyone
know how to fix this ?

Default Button Problem

Although generally applicable to the Max/min/restore symbols, caused by a
missing/corrupted font, this solution *might* work for you:-

Try:- "Description of and Troubleshooting the Marlett TrueType Font"
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];134861

If the first part of the article doesn't fix it, note and try the section
near the bottom page, referring to the maximum number of fonts and the
suggestion of deleting the ttfcache file.

HTH and good luck

Mart
