Compaq 2286: Flash Drive (SanDisk Cruzer mini) won't work to transfer files to new mac...
I finally am getting rid of my '99 Compaq 2286 Presario which runs
Windows 98. (Not the SE Second Edition.) I want to move files to the new computer (a mac G4) so I bought a SanDisk Cruzer Mini USB flash drive to transfer files, but discovered that my Win 98 doesn't have a driver for this flash drive. There is a driver for Win SE, but I can't find a way to download that version so that I can then download the flash drive driver. Are you following? Win98 is not reading the flash drive. So now what? Any suggestions? It's not a lot of files, but too much to email to myself and put on the new computer. Thanks for your replies/ideas. |
