quicktime picture viewer
Hello,
Any tips on why quicktime picture viewer would impose itself on all my stored images that were previously opened with imageexpert 2000? How would i get image expert back as the default viewer for all my pictures? Coyote |

Yep!! But is it Quicktime or ACDSee, or another photo program. My QT
version is for movies only. Anyway.....go into Image Expert (which I have not heard of) and find Options and tick off the file extensions for your photos.....as in jpeg, bmp, etc. Hopefully that will associate them with Image Expert. Flying a bit blind here, to be honest......but ACDSee which came with my camera took over my photos instead of WinME's Image Viewer. I could put them back, but the photo program is fine. Hi Jerry.....
It came with the Pentax digital camera......along with ACDSee and 2 or 3 more small programs associated with ACDSee. From what I can see with it (and I have never used it), it is a movie or video player of some sort. Oops....just hit Start/Programs and I see there is a Picture Viewer in there.....but I opened it and it is version 6.5. QT is version 6.3. The CD for the photo program advised installing it first......but I will never use it. I have things like Cyberlink Power DVD on here, along with a rather large bundle of Microsoft products, and I rarely use them. Cheers......Heather "Jerry" wrote in message ... That's OK.......I have no intention of using it. (G) In fact, I may
uninstall it. Heather "Jerry" wrote in message ... QuickTime is up to version 6.5 on my system. "Heather" wrote in message ... Hi Jerry.....
