Default No control over Volume since I did a Clean Install

I installed Win98 SE onto a new HD and now I can not get control over the
sound. There is no icon down on the task bar. I have been into MultiMedia
and tried changing the setting and it didn't work.
Thanks in advance
Ron

Did you install the driver for your sound card? Any indication of a problem
in control panel, system, device manager, sounds...?

I had a techy walk me through the exact same thing as you are explaining and
IT WORKED. In the control panel, system, device manager, sounds.... I
deleted the all of the drivers and when the computer restarted I was able to
control the sound. Thank YOU.
