On reflection, I think you're probably correct.

A basic USB-supported mouse. I think the MS welcome/register program limits
what you can do (like bypassing their license agreement page), which is
quite annoying to be confronted with. All I could do was move the darn
thing
around and left-click.

Thanks again, Mart.

Glad that Rick & my 'joint venture' succeeded - but am curious as to why

the
right-click function didn't work.

What sort of mouse? PS/2, Serial? USB? etc.

Presumably the other mouse functions worked.

Curious!

Mart

Rick- Your cryptic comment ("Tab") and Mart's comment below about
using
the
arrow buttons was the correct combination to get me thru the process.
Thanks
for the assist.

[1] I couldn't remember if it was plain tab, ctrl-tab, shift-tab,
whatever... glad Mart filled in.

Re-installed (again). Tab did not work. Could tab to the initial radio
button and click it, but the tab would not advance.

Tried

this

Needles to say, since this is a fresh reinstall and the first boot,

the

program is not fully functional (can[t right click at all). I can't

exit

out

of the launch program to install my monitors' CDROMs to adjust

either. Running in SAFE doesn't help, as I would need a floppy with

some

of

the monitor drivers...which I don't think I am capable of getting
off

the web.

I seem to always discover novel problems with my 'puters!

TIA
