Performance issue in 98se
I was always wondering to why my system runs so much
faster on Windows XP then on Windows 98se? I love Windows 98se to death, but the problem is that I can't run a lot of programs on it or my computer will be slow. On my computer I have a celeron 700 processor, 512mb of ram (with cooling), a 150gb hard drive (Windows 98se is on a 20gb partition), and a geforce4 card. Also, I'm running on DSL. Does anybody know how I can get Windows 98 to be at the same performance as Windows XP? Thanks.
