i never had a problem ontill today. i use mp3's all the
time on my mobile device, and on the pc. today my media
player 9 series pops up and says that the file type is not
suported. error message i.d. 8004025C ... now when i
called microsoft i was made aware that even tho i only had
9 series for 1 month that i was to recieve no phone
support because i went back to 98\se and did not like
xp\home... even tho the program in question "media player
9 series" was messing up, they didnt like my op system so
i am forced to resolve my problem via message boards and
email. has anyone encountered this error before 8004025C

Are you opening a file that has never opened with your computer,
such as a downloaded file? If yes, maybe because you don't have the
needed codecs. But it's better to post the problem in the Media
Player Newsgroup.
