I am having problems with text on the menu in Picture It!
and with MSN messenger. The problem is that instead of
seeing regular text it displays zeros. Ex,( instead
of "Sign On" it says "0000 00". Thanks in advance for any
help!

Bummer... Best I can come up with is a vague possibility that one or =
more core fonts is bad, though it would be odd that it only affects =
those two programs.

Other than that, all I can think to do is to use a CleanSweep type =
program that tracks every single action performed by installing these =
apps, then either comparing them to see what common DLLs or Registry =
items might be worth looking into, and/or using the CleanSweep-type app =
to fully cleanse out the app during in uninstall. It's typical of =
*normal* uninstall routines to leave quite a bit behind, and this may be =
why the problem can't be fixed using normal uninstall/reinstall =
routines.

I'll toss this issue out to some folks who might have a better idea, but =
don't hold your breath. Here's the scoop on default fonts. Just might =
help..

You might also try simply changing the default fonts in Display =
Properties, Settings tab, Advanced. Perhaps simply toggling them (with a =
restart in between) might fix the problem.
