I'm having weirdness. Sometimes msconfig won't work. For a
while Outlook wasn't working. I stripped out a lot of
startup stuff with msconfig and got Outlook back.
I find a file in windows\system\oobe\setup called
comnut.exe.
It keeps showing up checked in msconfig, but sometimes
shows "not responding" when I look to see what's running.
What is comnut.exe?
By the way, something keeps crowding Solitaire out at
startup, as well. If I click it early during startup
Solitaire opens and runs, but then something shuts it down.
Thanks.

You really should check your computer for viruses, trojans and spyware.

I recomend you download:
The anti-virus program from http://www.free-av.com
....and...
The spyware remover from http://www.lavasoft.de

These two I've found to be most reliable. On a heavilly trojanned
computer you may have to make sure they run, do a scan and finnish
several times before your computer will be safe from going constantly
out of control.
