Default Control Panel

Cannot locate the properties of some icons displayed in the control panel.

I know that Ive removed the program and have completed numerours registry
scans to remove shortcuts.

Although, the icons still remain in this control panel.

Thanks

Just remove the relevant .CPL files in the System folder.

Alan, thanks for your reply.

I see the files, however, how do I identify the names to the Icons.

Cannot seem to obtain the Icon properties in control panel.

Thanks

You don't obtain icon properties in Control Panel.

If the names are not obvious (some are not), then double-click each
..cpl file until you find the one you want.

You can see some of the names here.

Alan, got rid of a few, however, there remains one more.

There were two folders called elicense control.

Identified the one by double clicking on it as you mentioned in the search
..cpl.

When I removed it; only one folder removed and the other remained. Ive gone
through this list and am unable to identify this folder.

Anything Im doing wrong here?

Thank you.

Sean,

The first thing wrong you are doing is not quoting any message when
responding to me, so I have trouble knowing what you are talking
about.
