Default Watching conversations in OE - a glitch?

Does anyone else have this particular OE problem? Often when I select a
conversation to be watched, it doesn't always pick up ALL the threads
nestled in it. You can tell this because most of the threads show up in
red (when you expand the thread), but some do not.

And sometimes when new messages come in, they are not colored red as they
should be.

Just wondering if it was a problem with my particular system (like maybe a
slighted glitched "folders.dbx" file)

Bill,
On occasion mine does exactly the same thing, but I don't think we are
missing any of the replies.. It is only once in awhile that they appear in
blue on a watched thread on this machine, but all the reply is there.

If you're accessing the NG via your ISP, they often "thin out" the threads.
Best to log directly on to the msnews server. ...just a thought.

regards, Richard

All the replies are in there, but the color is missing in some of them.
Weird.

RJK,
In my case, I do log directly to the ms server... Thanks for the reply.

what you are probably seeing is were someone started a new conversation with
the same subject as a recently started thread. It actually a new thread but
sorted in the same catagory. if you select the watch the thread it shoudl
color them and treat it as the same thread
