Default Add new printer

The function Add new printer does not function anymore. There is no error
message, only no reaction.
Please help.

Thanks but same problem with Add new Hardware. Any other solution?

Does Help & Support work OK??
If not, then try the troubleshooter here (I'm thinking that scripting is
busted)
