Default Excel Viewer 2003 with a Win98se OS

Anyone running Excel Viewer 2003 with a Win98se OS? I have Excel Viewer 97
but it is not able to handle the newer versions of Excel. The MS web site
states that EV 2003 is compatible with: Win2000 SP4, WinServer2003 or WinXP.
No mention of Win98. But it is suppose to be a replacement for EV97 and all
other previous viewers.

Excel Viewer 97/2000 is the last one that works with Win98. According to the KB
article linked below, it can be used with workbooks created in versions of Excel
from Microsoft Excel 97 to Microsoft Office Excel 2003.

Remember that Open Office (www.openoffice.org) will view and modify
Excel files, and it will run on Win98.
