Default quicktime

mmm. 4 clicks from the above program and I have details about a broadcasting
program free to download.

Tried to locate on Microsofts site and couldnt locate nor have a clue where
to look for something similar.

Has anyone used a similar service to this "live channel" for a PC?

Basically, I am interested in broadcasting video and audio from my PC. Also,
in a mpeg 4 format.

Thanks.

similar to the program identified.

So? Look at the information and at the download page. There is a
Windows version for it and I assure you that this is what people mean
when they mention QuickTime and it works on Windows. See he
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ There are probably more
Windows QuickTime installation than Mac installations... many more.

John, thanks.

The only reason why Ive mentioned quicktime is because of the program that
was associated with that.

What I was asking is if anyone knew of a similar program that would work
with the pc platform particulary using windows media player.

Did you do a Google search or ask the folks at Apple?

There are three streaming video players presently in competition: QuickTime,
RealPlayer, and Windows Media Player. You need all three to make sure you
are able to view streaming media from the web - despite the format.
