Install Issues
Hey Folks,
Here is the deal: Installed winXP on a pc, but it didnt quite have enough resources to run it. This PC does NOT have a floppy. I managed to make myself a win98 boot CD which worked fine. Now, after using fdisk, and formatting and all that stuff, I go to install win98, which goes perfectly right up until it gets to the point where it starts detecting the hardware. At this point, it freezes dead in its tracks. Naturally, I reboot and let it re-try, but it does the same thing. What can I do to fix this? Is it something wrong with the install CD? Harddrive? Anything would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Aaron |
