Phantom keystrokes
Ive got Win 98 se and the keyboard (a std Microsoft one) has started
inserting a numeral (eg4, 5) before and after some letters - but not all, the delete key inserts a '3' and the backspace deletes the letter one space behind the cursor!!. Ive no idea why (although my father in law has started using the machine and has a habit of pushing keys seemingly at random!!, or how to return it to normal Any suggestions how I can return my keyboard to normal working order? Thanks |

Does the problem still occur if you use a different keyboard?
