Default How much memory for 98SE

I have a Compaq LTE 5280 Laptop(120Mhz, 12 Gig HD, 48 Ram, Win 95) Does this
laptop have enough memory to upgrade 95 to 98SE?

From practice, 40MB of RAM is the minimum for comfortable work with the
Office programs in Win98SE. Your 48MB is greater than 40 MB (and all the
more greater than the technical minimum for Win98SE) -- so yes, it is
enough.
