Default The Bast Way to partitions HHD for then one windows OS.

The Bast Way to partitions HHD for more then one windows OS.
for a 130 GB or Bigger HHD
All you need is a good Partition Maker Software in DOS!

Make the right Partitions First new HDD!

(NOTE #1) Always make Partition #1
Partition #1. (c:\) DOS Partition 2GB to 7GB in FAT32 is for Booting the
OS's and running Virtual Memory only.
The more GB you give it, will help make Virtual Memory run the goodie !
Do not Format that Partitions or make bigger after it made!
Do not Save file, insert, Edit or Unless help by someone know windows OS's
For this is for the News Systems Add it Boot... run it on Virtual Memory.
Do Not put win3.0 in this Partition #1 is a FAT16 and it will break your
FAT32 System .... Read (NOTE #4)

(EXP....#1)
Partition #2. (d:\) Windows 98 Partition 32GB a FAT32 ....
Keep at 32GB add no more to the Partition!

Partition #3. (e:\) Windows XP Partition 64GB always make it a FAT32 .
if running win98. it break.. you can add all Free GB to the XP Partition if
you like But Save some for Partition #4!

Partition #4. (f:\) Make this Partition ?GB if you need a place to Save
files for Win98 and XP.. or SO I can Add a new Systems!

(NOTE #2) Partition #3 can be windows ME, or 2000 that can run on Partition
64GB ...
But 2000 have to be make it FAT32 just like XP or you will break your
win98, ME System
YOU Can Have

get a Window so you can see out!

Are you running two are more Windows 9X based Operating systems.
on a Disk Partitions at FAT16 ; I don't thank so!
If so; can we see your Data logs for your Idiots Beta testing!
And how did you get that hybrid 16-bit/32-bit Panther to install on a FAT
16 with out getting Bit?
And you say that you can install a Phoenix in the same Cages... and make
Memphis Stable..!

But I know that you can put 98 in a Fat16 Partitions; but is it Stable!

I recommend what I did. Install Linux, and use it's partition manager to
stretch and shrink partitions to your desired end result. Then install the
other OSes being sure to pick a filesystem supported by all of them. You
will still have you choices of OS in Grub, plus now you will have Linux as a
maintenance OS if needed.

Agreed.

I upgraded to W98 from WFW3.11 and it offered to convert to FAT32. It
refused, due to errors on the disk (I assume physical errors in a place
FAT32 treats as non-fault tolerant). I ran it for years on FAT16.
