Default Mapping network drive in WIN9xse

I am in a Windows 2003 Ad environment, All of the sudden we are unable to map
network drives on WIN98 boxes. The login script is a .bat files that
executes a VB script that maps drives according to group membership. If I
use an old fash bat file with a simple net use command it will map with no
problems.

Has anyone encountered anything like this?

Thanks,
