Default MS BACKUP

Hi,
I have been using Microsoft backup for years. I backup to
a cd-rw disk. My "main back up" job up are files I use all
the time. I also have another "photo backup" job on the
same disk. Today, I went to back up my files and for some
reason when I hit "main backup" the program begins, then I
get the following error message:
This media is write-protected. Remove the write
protection or insert another media to continue

The odd thing is if I select the "photo backup" job
everything runs fine. I even put in a new cd and the same
things happens.....

Another odd thing is that on the windows knowledgevase
page it says that cd-rw is not supported with MS BACKUP.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Bill

It doesn't support a CDRW as they were not available in 1995 when MS started
writing W98. I suggest you use the software that came with the burner
(Easy CD, Nero, etc.)
