Will an upgrade solve my problem?
I've pretty much been told to reinstall Win98 to solve my
explorer.exe. I know this will cause all my programs to stop working. I have one question though, I'm looking to upgrade to Win98SE. If I can purchase this will the upgrade solve my problem and still make my programs work? |

Will an upgrade solve my problem?
You haven't described what your problem is, so it's quite impossible to
predict whether or not an upgrade would solve it. However, the usual result of upgrading a faulty system is a faulty upgraded system. And if your system is so damaged that re-installing the current version of Windows stops all your programs from working, there's even less chance that an upgrade would solve anything. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "GK" wrote in message ...
